[Juglist] How set path to JRE in Firefox

On Windows 2000 I am using Mozilla Firefox 1.0. I have a 1.4.2_03 Java Runtime Environment on the machine, although it is not in the usual C:\Program Files directory.

How can I tell Firefox the path to my JRE? Every time I try to run an applet Firefox offers me a link to download the plugin, but I don't need another JRE. I just want Firefox to use the one I have.
