At the risk of introducing more complexity to this discussion, I noticed the
following:
1. There is a technical distinction between features and items in the code.
2. In the UI one of the selection arrows on the Editing toolbox is called
"Select Parts".
3. If you select a "part" of a "combined feature", you can copy it with
"Copy Items". When you "Paste Items", you only get the "part" you selected.
Therefor I suggest that we change "items" in the UI to "parts" to be
consistent. I would assume that "parts" would translate well.
