A follow up on my earlier message. I updated my old MacOSX 10.4.11 to MacOSX Snow Leopard, and could install with that also a newer Java release. Now, when starting OpenJUMP PLUS (ex -s edition) with the Sextante toolbox and PostGIS, all plugins are load. Perfect!
Also the Styling Dialog graphical error is resolved. And - I made a functional (re-) addition for OpenJUMP users on MacOSX. The problem was that in "Save Dataset As..." field on MacOSX no field is visible to provide a file name to save and one can only select to existing files. So, I added next to the "Save Dataset As..." function in the layer context menu a new "Save Dataset As File..." function. This can be used to save to arbitrary files on MacOSX now. But note, this function is only loaded on MacOSX. This workaround is available in the nightly build. stefan PS: What would have happened on my WinXP if I updated to a newer version I can't say anymore - just getting the blue screen of death if I select Win XP in my boot menu after installing MacOSX... But I assume a newer version would have solved the problem too.
