So, just changed the thread to not confuse with the other email now: @Ede: working on speed up? - depends on what to do? my programming skills definitively decreased in the last year
other: 2. ok, will do the slashgeo announcement 3. maybe wait for another 3-4 weeks? - otherwise the impression may appear that we ship things that don't work? (do wee need to think about a min release distance?) 4. as said earlier.. all good points on where OJ Core is a bit better... And yes - making the plugin manager work would be best (first local then remote).. well actual.. maybe thats something? The first version was always focused on downloading, but maybe we should focus on switching plugins on/off locally first (modifying default-plugins...?). But I shouldn't talk aloud that much, but only if I can make time up for that - which does look difficult. cheers, stefan On 07/02/2012 12:21 AM, Michaël Michaud wrote: > Hi Stefan, Ede, > > 1 - First, many thanks to Ede for the time he spent to polish installers > which will make OpenJUMP much more attractive for many users. > > 2 - Yes Stefan, we should post some announcement.
