In Cisco-land, multi-rate ports take on the name of the faster speed, on the boxes I've operated anyway. So a 1Gbps optic in a 1/10Gbps port will still be named "TenGigabitEthernet". Doesn't really bother me, as we code the bandwidth in the description anyway. Mark.
