Just adding that new jdhcpd daemon was implemented long ago and
coexisted at least in junos 12 and 13 causing a lot of confusion. Old
dhcpd daemon was (recently) removed, so OP needs to adjust to new
config.
Kind regards,
Andrey

I think the commands to check on the dhcp client are show dhcp client
binding and show dhcp client statistics.
There are a lot of bugs in -D70.

The firmware that ships on the SRX is missing a lot of features. I
would
recommend upgrading to the latest version in that code train, which
is
15.1X49-D150.

Hello all
I have an old SRX which I configured it is WAN IP address using
the below
command:
set interfaces ge-0/0/0 unit 0 family inet address dhcp
Now , I have replaced the box with a newer one (srx300
15.1X49-D70.3)
but I
cannot find the command itself
I have tried the below:
set interfaces ge-0/0/0 unit 0 family inet dhcp-client
With no luck !
When I try to check :
show system services ? (no DHCP option is available)
I have configured:
set security zones security-zone untrust interfaces ge-0/0/0.0
host-inbound-services dhcp
Any ideas guys?
BR,
Mohammad
