I guess that JUnit 4 adoption will take a while, but that shouldn't stop us from moving :-). If/when we move to JDK 1.5 that will be a good time to think about adopting JUnit4.
I haven't played with JUnit 4, or even 3.8.1 (recently) for that matter (shame on me). But I would like to keep moving forward. I think it won't take too long before maven will adopt Junit 4 as well. Perhaps in a new surefire plugin version. I would be more concerned with IDE adoption of JUnit 4. When Eclipse and NetBeans see the JUnit 4 light, perhaps that will be a good moment to move to JUnit 4.
