Thanks for your answer, but I am afraid you must have misunderstood me.

1. Since I can see my (already downloaded) emails without an internet 
connection, they need to be saved on my phone.
2. If they are not here anymore they must have been deleted (or not being 
shown) on the phone (not on the server).
3. When I am syncing only the last week, everything older than this week 
should not be affected in any way. Neither should any changes being 
transferred nor should existing older items on the phone being deleted 
(this results from the definition of synchronizing). And this is what I am 
trying to achieve: Sync the last week, let the older stuff stay as it is.

Is there any way to do that?
