Hello everyone, I'm currently trying K9 and am liking it a lot so far, except for 2 things that keep bugging me.
1.) IMAP push E-Mail is working reasonably well while the app is in the foreground or cached(visible @recent apps), it usually takes less than a minute for mails to arrive. However, as soon as I clear the app from the "recent apps" screen, it will always take at least between 15-30 Minutes, sometimes it won't arrive even within that time frame. I've already played a lot with all the different settings like refreshing IMAP idle more often etc., but to no avail. Interestlingy enough, using timed polling instead of pushing works like a charm, no matter if the app is closed or not. 2.) Less of an issue but I'm curious where K9 actually stores the local mail files. I've done a search and found a mention of the directory Android/data/com.fsck.k9/files, but I don't have that directory or any files resembling k9 that I could find. (Using different file managers with "Show hidden files" enabled, such as OpenExplorer and X-plore..I can see everything, even all the base linux directories, but nothing about k9) I'm using Cyanogenmod11 (KK 4.4.2) with the latest K9 version from the play store. Previously I had an older version from the F-Droid repository installed, which presented the same issue(s).(Which is why I removed it and installed the recent version to see if it would fix the problem) Thanks for reading. I'd be more than happy for any pointers you may be able to give me. :) -Ichiji -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the K-9 Mail Users List.
