A test message was sent to a Yahoo account, which automatically forwarded it to a POP3 account. The message contained both a small inline .jpg and a small attached .jpg image.
When received in K9 from the POP3 account (on an Asus HD7 MemoPad) the attachment was listed as 6.9Kb, but was blank. The inserted image displayed. When received in the stock Android mail client, both the inserted and attached image were shown. Looking instead at the Yahoo account to which the message was originally sent, K9 displayed neither the inserted image nor the attachment. Another test was sent to the Yahoo account - this one contained only an inserted image. K9 displayed only a placeholder while the Android client displayed the image.
