I'm not clear on this myself, but I think there's a legitmate bug here. Of course POP3 does not have a concept of folders. But mail clients that use POP3 can have local folders. Sticking to IMAP, I found that I had accidentally deleted a message, which was then in Trash. I tried to refile to inbox, and got a message that more or less said "Can't move message because it is not synchronized with the server." This seems like a bug, because whether or not the message has gotten back to the server or not *yet* is not my problem as a user. But I did sync on that folder, and then I could move it. My point is really that IMAP clients should present a logical view of the folders, separate from what's made it to the server, and sync in the background when there is a network connection. -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the K-9 Mail Users List.
