I am running K-9 Mail version 5.001 and using Microsoft Outlook 2007 with Google Apps Sync. Google hosts the e-mail for my domain name.
I have my K-9 device configured to use GMAIL's IMAP servers. The push feature works perfectly fine on both my PC and my phone. The issue I have is that the "mark as read" concept only works one way. Example: An e-mail arrives in my inbox. My phone receives the e-mail, and shows it as "new" and "unread". My Outlook client receives the e-mail, and shows it as "new" and "unread". If I read the e-mail on my phone, a few seconds later, the message shows as being "read" on my Outlook client. If I perform the reverse and I read the e-mail on my Outlook client FIRST, the message NEVER shows as "read" on my phone unless I manually read it again on my phone.
