Thanks for the help, voytek.  I deleted one of my four accounts first, and 
imported it just fine.  Added my password and I was set to go.  Then I 
deleted all four of them, imported the settings and all four accounts 
appeared.  Entered passwords and all is well. 

And since storage space is so limited on the Android, I can't see letting 
deleted mail take up -any- space.  So once I week I clean it all out.
