Poking at smtp.aol.com:465 I get the following message: 220-Effective immediately: 220-AOL may no longer accept connections from IP addresses 220 which no reverse-DNS (PTR record) assigned. They seem to have this applying to port 465, which I think is a little extreme (it's common on port 25), so that could be the source of your problem. You can use an app like: <https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=radonsoft.net.myip> on your S3 to see if your (external) IPnumber has an rDNS record associated with it. If not, you'll need to chat with your connectivity provider. - Richard -- -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the K-9 Mail Users List.
