You should switch to *IMAP *mode, or just be sure to *not delete POP3
*messages from server on K9 settings (I do not know if possible, I use
only IMAP accounts!)

Hi all,
I primarily switched to K9 because whatever email client on my
computer, it wouldn’t download my gmail messages (POP3) if they had
been previously listed (not necessarily opened) on Android’s stock
email client. Things seemed better with K9 but now it happens again.
