I have tried to set up K9mail to send mail to port 587 with password authentication. I use my self managed mail server (postfix & dovecot). Configuration fails. Don't know why.
When I configure K9mail to use port 25, mails go through. It uses TLS and AUTH is successful. It's just using port 587 that fails and I need to use port 587 because outgoing port 25 is blocked on some wifi networks I use.
