The latest version on Google Play for Android 6.0.0 is 5.010. You can
find this out from the entry in Settings->Apps
There has never been a version with a version number of "4.3".
The "4.3" on the Google Play page is the average review...
We may be getting a crash log from this given the brief dialogue - if so
I'm sure cketti (the project lead) will file a bug when he reviews them.
In the meantime, can she please try un-installing and re-installing the
app. If necessary she can export the e-mail settings and re-import them
into the new app. Any e-mails only stored on the device will be lost,
but from the sounds of it, the app is barely usable anyway so I'm
guessing this is not the case?
