Robert,

I've found this same issue somewhat frustrating on IMAP accounts but here is what I have done. If you are using POP then I'm not sure why you have the problem since the messages are all local.

With IMAP account, I have to sync to the server (circle icon in toolbar) to ensure the IMAP server sees and moves the files to the trash like in K9. After the sync, I am able to select the email and then move to the inbox again.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

I use K-9 Mail on my android phone. Unfortunately, I deleted all the messages in my Sent folder and now they are all in my Trash folder. So they are still there just in the wrong folder which is inconvenient.

Please advise as to how I can get them back to the Sent folder in the app and out of Trash.

I hopeĀ  someone can help.

Best wishes,
Robert
