Or maybe it's not K-9.... I just tried checking email on Comcast's Website, 
and got this message:

Error: Failed to load message content
The connection to remote server imap.email.comcast.net timed out while 
awaiting the response. Please try again later.

Something similar happened in the Comcast app on my phone. So possibly I 
simply tried to set up K-9 at the exact moment Comcast is having an email 
outage. I see other reports of such an outage online. I'll report back in 
later.

PS. I'll try to remember this the next time I gripe about the U.S. Post 
Office. :-)
