I'm interested in using Kaboodle to manage my home network (4 computers
running a mix of XP Professional, XP Home and 2000 Professional, 2
networked printers and a gateway on a combination wired and wireless
network) as well as a remote LAN at my parents' house (comprised of 2
Windows machines). I downloaded your software yesterday, and installed the
helper applications (the latest versions of TightVNC, WinPcap and Zebedee).
I then installed Kaboodle and ran it. The program detected the 7 devices
on my LAN and then began to "categorize" them but it terminated at either
the second or fourth device (it varies) with a Windows error message. Any
ideas of what the problem might be? Each of the XP machines has SP2
installed. The machine on which Kaboodle is installed is a Dell Inspiron
700m notebook with a wireless g connection to my LAN. The other machines
are on a wired network and have the latest RealVNC server (4.0) installed.
Thanks in advance for any help you may provide.
