If you create a wallet prior to trying to connect to a wi-fi, it doesn't work. If you create the wallet while you are asked to do so as part of connecting to a wi-fi, then disconnect, then try to open it via kwalletmanager, it doesn't work either. In both situations the applet hangs at "waiting for authentication". The only thing that works is, after creating the wallet, login out and in again. Then you are prompted to re-enter the wi-fi password, in a separate screen than the applet. Even when the wi-fi already has the password registered in network settings prior to logout.
