I opened the same image in Gwenview and in Koko and the latter was significantly faster. I think the issue might be lack of multi-core processing. I tested this by quickly zooming in and out while monitoring the CPU and GPU usage: Gwenview seems to use 100% one core, whereas Koko uses a small percentage of every core and perhaps more of the GPU too. I know Koko is a newer application with fewer features (otherwise I'd be using it), but maybe the viewer component or something else related to performance could be ported to Gwenview. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
