SUMMARY
Dolphin "Use common display style for all folders" setting is ignored when
displaying the wastebin folder. Instead, Details view is forced and a separate
set of columns is shown. Details view cannot be changed for future visits of
this folder, nor can the columns be changed permanently.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Enable "Use common display style for all folders" in dolphin settings
2. Navigate to an arbitrary folder that is not the wastebin.
3. Change to Details view mode, note down columns (activate some wildly unusual
column if needed, say "Downloaded From")
4. Change to Icons view mode
5. Navigate elsewhere, (again, not the wastebin) - Icons view is kept
6. Naviate to wastebin
OBSERVED RESULT
7. Wastebin is displayed in Details view mode: columns do not match
EXPECTED RESULT
7. Icons view is kept, and columns (in Details mode) are consistent with what
is displayed everywhere else
...further steps:
8. Add column "Size" to the wastebin folder
9. Switch to any other folder, Icons view is automatically reapplied.
10. Switch back to wastebin folder, Icons view is back, but column "Size" has
disappeared

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Introduced when upgrading from Ubuntu 24.04 LTS on QT5, exact version unknown.
Worked before (slightly annoyingly so, as "deletion time" column was, if
enabled, visible for all folders when it only mattered in the trash folder).
Likely related to #500082, which was closed as "RESOLVED WORKSFORME" with the
following key comment: "a) Leave it as it is (with potential user confusion)
(I'm preferring this variant)"
It neither works for me, nor do I prefer a static wastebin colum setup that
doesn't include item size. I agree on the potential user confusion.
