--- Comment #3 from Jack <[email protected]> --- This is the first I've heard of the bahavior you desribe, so we do need to try and figure out what is going on. Minor point, it is not the last transaction in the ledger, it is the one most recently entered. although that does not seem relevant to your issue. Once we figure this out, you could consider changing this bug to a wishlist for a different (perhaps optional set by a config setting) behavior, although it sounds like if the intended behavior worked for you, it might be close enough to live with. if you run KMyMoney from the desktop, is there anything interesting in console output when you create the new transaction? What locale do you have your date set to? (I doubt it matters, but I'm looking for anything which might be relevant. I also ask you to confirm that your original description is not really what you are seeing - "When I try to enter a new transaction in the ledger the date is never correct. It defaults to the last date a new transaction was entered." What it SHOULD use is the date of the last transaction entered, not the date on which the transaction was entered. (You can check by showing both the POST date and ENTRY date in the ledger to check. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
