I've encountered a problem I used to have with GIMP before the release of GIMP
3.0, which is that no matter which UI language I choose under Windows, it's
always English.
Background: The Windows 10 version was installed as SE-EN (Swedish-English).
After moving to Germany, I switched the system language to DE. Kdenlive is one
of the apps that ignore the changed language settings. There is a difference
between GIMP 2.x and 3.x, though, which is that GIMP uses GTK+, whereas
Kdenlive uses Qt. Other programmes that use either pure Qt or KDE (Shotcut,
Krita, Scribus) don't have this problem.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Change UI language in Windows.
2. Install Kdenlive.
3. Change the UI language in Kdenlive to the new one.
OBSERVED RESULT
Kdenlive still shows the original language (in this case English instead of any
other language you can choose).
