The updates that are breaking the system completely and I have to find in the
list and untick them manualy each time
DESCRIPTION
Please add a way for Discover to ignore some updates!
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Find some updates that you don't want to apply.
2. Try to ignore them in a way that they are not pre-ticked (checked) again
next time.
OBSERVED RESULT
1. I can't ignore any of the updates, so I have to manually find (as there is
no search filter) and uncheck them all again and again after each time I check
for new updates. And it's very tiresome and time wasting if there are many.
2. Worse, I cannot install updates after reboot ans I cannot even manually
ignore (untick) the ones that I need to uncheck as the are shown all as a
single entry, which is very bad.
EXPECTED RESULT
1. I expect to have a way to ignore an update for indefinite time (permanently)
and for 1, 3, 6 months, a year.
I also expect to have a page to see all the updates that I have ignored and for
how much time, from where I can remove them, so they are not ignored anymore or
change the time they will still be ignored, starting from the change time.
2. I expect to be able to Ignore them even if I set the updates to be applied
after reboot.
3. I expect that I can manually ignore (untick) them too, even when I set the
updates to be applied after reboot.
4. I expect to have a search filter for both these cases (updates applied
immediately and updates applied after reboot) as it's hard to find the right
updates to ignore when there are many.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
I'm using Debian 14 (codename Forky), AKA the 'testing' repository, mainly to
get more up to date KDE software, but also for other programs to be more up to
date.
This is risky enough, but not as risky as when using the 'unstable' repository,
which broke the whole system about every 6 months, so I had to backup,
reinstall everything and then restore everything, which is a lot of work.
Debian with the 'testing' repository is more stable, but I still managed to
find a few updates that break the whole system, that I had to reinstall the OS
3 times in total, until I figured out which are the updates that are doing this
and started to ignore (untick) them manually after each check for updates.
These updates are all started with shim, as you can see in the printscreen
attached.
They break the GRUB bootaoader so bad that I cannot even boot anymore, at all.
All entries in the GRUB bootloader fails to load so I can't just choose another
kernel or some recovery option and I don't know how to fix it manually from the
command line.
Installing one of the older Debian weekly builds, WITHOUT internet was the only
way to fix it.
Since then, I'm continuously ignoring them manually, which is very tiresome.
