Still seeing this on a much newer version than originally reported: kwallet-pam
6.7.4-1, kwallet 6.29.0-1 (EndeavourOS/Arch, Plasma 6.7.4, Wayland, NVIDIA RTX
3060 with nvidia_open).

Exact log line matches this bug precisely:

kwalletd6[3122]: secret_service_load_collections_sync: assertion 'paths !=
NULL' failed
kf.wallet.kwalletd: "Could not connect to Secret Service"

Symptoms: ~50-second delay between pam_kwallet_init firing and kwalletd6
actually starting after login, causing a slow desktop appearance; gpg-agent
then fails to reach Secret Service and falls back to an interactive pinentry
prompt every login. Reproduces consistently on every boot.

Haven't yet tested the no-allow-external-cache gpg-agent.conf workaround
mentioned in this thread — will report back after a reboot.
