Make sure you have pinentry 1.3.0 or later, and _don't_ have PINENTRY_KDE_USE_WALLET environment variable set, as that variable would override the fix in pinentry. Also note that just having a 50 sec delay does _not_ conclusively point to this issue, as there could be many other causes for similar timeouts. See comment 85 for details. For example, the current KWallet 6.29's ksecretd process is known to crash at startup with QCA < 2.3.12 (bug 524522).
