            Bug ID: 525087
Summary: startplasma-wayland crashes the current session if
launched within an active plasma session
    Classification: Plasma
           Product: plasmashell
      Version First 6.7.4
       Reported In:
          Platform: openSUSE
                OS: Linux
            Status: REPORTED
          Severity: crash
          Priority: NOR
         Component: Startup process
          Assignee: [email protected]
          Reporter: [email protected]
                CC: [email protected]
  Target Milestone: 1.0

Running "startplasma-wayland" from a terminal inside an already active plasma
session crashes it.

I know there's no point on doing that, I just log into my system running
startplasma-wayland from the tty (I don't use sddm/plasmalogin), and sometimes
scrolling the history up in Konsole to run the previous command,
"startplasma-wayland" pops up and I run it accidentally.

Perhaps startplasma-wayland could check if it's being run from inside an active
plasma session and exit gracefully. And I promise to read what I am about to
run before hitting enter.

Regards
