Ctrl + Shift + N (the default) is working in Firefox but if I assign a custom shortcut (in my case ctrl+shift+u via Dolphin Settings - Assign Keyboard Shortcut) it's not triggered. BUT If I assign the shortcut via System Settings (as I mentioned in my previous comment) then it works. So I see no bug in dolphin.
