--- Comment #18 from Branislav Klocok <[email protected]> --- I think so, yes. Everything we measured points at the native code that qmlcachegen generates for these two files. The same QML works when it is loaded as source or when the library is built with --only-bytecode. Before writing this I searched the Qt tracker (now at qt-project.atlassian.net) and found nothing that matches. The two closest compiler bugs are QTBUG-149446 (reading an alias to a local alias returns garbage, 6.11.1 and 6.11.2, fixed in 6.11.3) and QTBUG-150640 (wrong property of a value type derived from another gadget). Neither fits. In SelectionTool.qml selectionArea is a direct child of the root, pendingRect is a plain rect property rather than an alias, and rect is not a derived gadget. Qt 6.11.3 is not released yet, so I could not try it either. A useful Qt report would need a reduced example that does not depend on KQuickImageEditor. Noah knows this code best, so whether and how to report it to Qt is probably his call. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
