System: - Debian 13, KDE Plasma 6.3.6, Frameworks 6.13.0, Qt 6.8.2, Wayland - Kernel 6.12.113+deb13-amd64 - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, AMD Radeon RX 6800 (Navi 21) - Steam via Flatpak (com.valvesoftware.Steam) - Affected games: Civilization VI and Fallout Shelter, both via Proton, fullscreen Symptoms are identical: alt-tab out of the game, and some of the time the game window freezes on return and has to be killed. No amdgpu errors in the journal. Timeline: - No system packages changed between Oct 6 and Oct 17 (/var/log/apt/history.log) - No Flatpak updates in over a month (flatpak history) - The machine was off Oct 10-17 - On first startup, Oct 17 20:39, Steam updated its client from version 1788652215 (~Sep 5) to 1791918634 (~Oct 13), including new client binaries, Steam runtime and SDL3 (bootstrap_log.txt) - The freezes started right after that -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
