Most notifications show up as an empty blurred square when blur is enabled, and don't show up at all when blur is disabled. The graphics setup is a bit simpler here, just running off a ryzen 5600G's integrated graphics without any other GPU installed. So the most obvious thing that our two setups have in common is integrated AMD graphics, but they are of quite different generation (GCN 5 vs RDNA 2) and two repetitions do not make a pattern yet...
