Ok, I should use that version...the version David Bustos put the glue layer on was 1.8, but I went and downloaded the latest to get the latest interfaces which you had said changed. I'll use that one...but have you merged David's changes already? I'll need to look at that, maybe you've saved us the trouble.;-) > LIBRAW1394/ I'll get that from redneck, or do the work on redneck if it's not done already. > Don't get too excited about the KDE directory in there, there isn't much > in there yet. :-) Don't worry, we all need to help each other on this. This is one big projects. BTW, if you hadn't seen the presie slides for SVOSUG last week, Tom Kirkley spoke on the ATS, I think it can save us some possible time in tuning, it will select the proper flags and allow the binaries to be changed through the use of PEC code is compiles in. We have a ways to go before we need to tune though...but he was showing how they used it with Oracle to get improvements in performance. > Many Many Thank You's for the Solaris patches for the IEEE1394 > Libraries. Thanks really go to David Bustos, he wrote the glue layer that was in handycam. That will get us the 1394 support needed for camcorders. I wonder if I can build kino now, might be possible, probably won't build straight up, but with libraw1394, I think we have what is pretty much needed. > I did have BOOST 1.33.1 built and working with Studio 11 and Sun > libCrun.so.1 libCstd.so.1. I want something that works. -- Alan DuBoff - Solaris x86 IHV/OEM Group
