yes, these are the changes from David Bustos. So, yes, the many thank you's go 
to him.

mpeg4ip is building. but, due to the differences between macro expansion rules 
between gcc and Studio, it SEGV's. so this is what i am cleaning up right now 
(they use some macros to log "things" to files or to stdout/stderr, and the 
macros as written for gcc don't work with Studio). and once i get these cleaned 
up i might discover some other things. who knows. :-)

haven't tried it yet -- dvgrab 3.0 still needs to be built. but in theory it 
*should* be possible now to build Kino. they have a very recent new release.

i don't mean to start a flamewar here, but, quite honestly, i never really 
understood exactly *what* is Totem supposed to be doing. i haven't been able to 
play a demo *.wav file with it yet. :-)
