That argument convinces me. I updated the wiki version at http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Oxygen/namingSpec/devices this way. > > Given that there's David volunteering for the icons themselves, and Kévin > > for adapting the code, the only thing that's left is: > > > > - Final approval of the updated proposal by Kévin and David, and > > Apart from the pendrive, I'm fine with the current proposal there: > http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Oxygen/namingSpec/devices > > Getting it lighter on the (dvd|bluray|hddvd) is indeed the way to go IMO. While I'm not 100% sure about leaving them out altogether - rather something around 85% - it seems to be the best idea to leave the DVD icon out for now. If there is a pressing need for it (and I do indeed expect K3b to need a DVD icon) we can still restore it with SVN. So, yeah, let's remove it for now. Thus: - approval by Kévin: *check* - approval by David: seems to me like he accepts the way it is If I'm correct, the renaming can begin NOW. Here's the final list of icon names that need to be renamed: http://techbase.kde.org/Projects/Oxygen/namingSpec/devices I'll update them as I see the commits coming. _______________________________________________ Kde-hardware-devel mailing list [email protected] https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-hardware-devel
