the main character returns!!
just go back to whatever tiling wm you use, dweeb
regardless of how you feel, KDE is going to be the future of consumer
open-source software support, and the Steam hardware ecosystem proves
it, and it only keeps getting more stable over time, while Gnome seems
perfectly content to lock developers down more with every single update
and have a desktop that is generally just impossible for newcomers to
read and utilise
none of this is a dead end, you've just got main-character syndrome;
evident by the fact you seem to act like you're smarter than everyone else

OK, let me get to the point here and make this really short & simple:
1. Plasma = BS
2. Wayland = BS
3. KDE = Klearly a Dead End.
The root cause of this is a built-in constraint of this planetary zoo,
which is formulated as follows:
"The total amount of human intelligence on planet Earth has always
been and will be a constant at any given moment in time".
0 = ∞, 6000 = 0
When something as elementary as Xdialog goes extinct, you know
non-garbage Open-Source is dead.
Time for a planetary cometary reset.

Well, I thought I had done my research before complaining. Thanks for
the pointer... AND for calling me a stick in the mud! LOL.
Thanks again,
Mike.

I understand that Barrier doesn't work under Wayland. (I couldn't get
it to work at all)
Ugh! Barrier is soooooo 2015!
Deskflow, brother, Deskflow is where it is now at:
https://github.com/deskflow/deskflow
Works on Wayland, X11, Windows, MacOS...
Probably already in your distro's repos, so don't be a stick in the mud! Use
Deskflow and enjoy.
Cheers
