Hi,
Start KiCad
PCB Footprint Editor -> Open Footprint Viewer
Select a library in viewer and a footprint inside it.
Click on "Show footprint in 3D viewer" icon
Case A
3D Viewer opens and works as expected, use the Library browser, it works
OK too.
Close 3D Viewer.
Library browser still works OK.
Case B
3D Viewer opens and works as expected. DO NOT USE LIBRARY BROWSER.
Close 3D Viewer.
As soon as mouse pointer enters the footprint panel, it blanks and never
shows another footprint.
All this is on Windows. OpenGL canvas selected.
