I think trying to replicate what this guy does here would be quite time
saving wouldnt it?

Basically scripting keypresses, and then using something like scrot to
take a screenshot of the intended area. This would keep the docs in sync :)

Hello Oliver,
congrats on the huge improvement on the icons!
For further simplification I would remove the gray “paper-boundary” on
schematic and worksheet icons, citing Jeff Young: “… adding visual complexity
without any cognitive benefit”.
When Wayne refers to the doc team - I expect the icons are pulled in from the
sources, so the doc is always in sync?
"so the doc is always in sync"
Of course no: icon sources are svg files, but toolbars, menus and many other
pictures are created
only by screen copy (there are no other way).
And if pictures are containing texts, screen copy update must be made for all
languages.
So, be careful with modifying icons: be sure it is worth: the cost is *high*.
I would like to see and use them in the V5 release - what is holding back the
commit?
Cheers,
Jörg
