Thanks, but it turns out it's probably a wx bug print bug. As B suggested I tried plotting to postscript, then after figuring out how to send that direct to the printer I got a great version out. Even fixed a few other things, like a straight line that didn't actually come out straight, and improved the clearances on some close parts.
