Hi Roger,

I wish I like reading books as many like to do. Yes, I used to hear
that Descartes is a great philosopher.

On the other hand, why are we here in this group?

I think we are here with the hope to discover first, how KiCAD (as it
is) could be useful to us. right? But since there is also a chance to
contact its creator(s), we may contribute in a way or another in its
growing.
To me LIFE (including my being) is like KiCAD. The only difference,
life's features (natural rules) CANNOT be changed. So in order for me
to take full advantage of it, I have tried discover its 'real'
natural rules first. And I have chosen 'reason' only (it is naturally
based on my own logic, not of others) to find out the best path for
the nature I am made of. But in order to live also in peace with my
dog (for example) I should discover what is good for his (or its)
nature too.
Yes, without true or sure knowledge life becomes much like a set of
gambling games (by which only the Casinos win :) ). Anf if most
people like to base their knowledge on faith instead of reason...
perhaps because they enjoy living as gamblers :)) So it seems that at
the end, everyone is happy with the way he/she lives.

If KiCAD needs philosophy or faith to be understood... then I may
also need philosophy or faith to understand life ;)

Kerim
