Is there a key to swap between the active layer pair while routing? I invariably start off on the wrong layer for surface mount components and I find it distracting to move the cursor up to the layer menu. Hi, If I remember, the "v" key do that (v as via) this key switch between the active layer pairs. HTH -- Danilo Uccelli Thanks Danilo, but maybe I didn't explain too well. I'm only looking to change the layer of the segment I'm routing not add a via. This is when I have just started routing on the wrong layer rather than when I need to change the layer during routing.
