I submitted my first board with Kicad to BatchPCB and it got rejected
because traces were below their 8 mil minimum trace width.

They (very conveniently) sent me an image back of the board with the
error highlighted. The part that failed was a Fill area. I changed the
fill's grid to be .010 and tried again. The problem was still that the
actual width's of the tracks that are part of the thermal pads were
still below 8 mils.

The Fill was only a small section (under a crystal) so I changed the
pads to just be connected instead of thermal pads, but I'm pretty
disappointed that the thermal pad's little radial connectors are so
damn narrow and seemingly unable to be changed.

Maybe there's something I'm missing?

Mike
