Hello Joerg,
thank you for your description.
I ran into the same problem of not beeing able to move a wire. You are right it 
is not really comfortable to hold the "strg"-key all the time, but it is much 
more easier instead of deleting and redrawing the wire.
A little bit late, but I think it is never too late to be grateful.
