Print out the component sheets from CVpcb 3rd icon from right on top icon bar (Display footprint list documentation)
On the first sheet descrete1, there are a dozen options, and a similar number on the SMD sheet You use whichever package your device uses. Do be aware that there are variations withing the package styles e.g. in TO92 the outlines show the pads in a triangular format, however some devices are pinned in line. Of course the in line pins can fit the triangular pattern, but this may not suit your needs. In which case you would need to create a new outline. (easily done by copying and modifying the TO92 one.
