Instead of drawing wires to the other side of the schematic in order to connect to VCC or GND I like to drop a GND or PWR symbol and name the net accordingly so eeschema knows which net it connects too.
I can do this in Eagle, but haven't a clue on how to do it in Kicad. I prefer Kicad, since the free version of Eagle is limited. Example: In Eagle I can drop a certain GND symbol and the net automatically gets named GND, and any other GND symbol i drop gets added the the GND net. Is there something similar in Kicad?
