AHA!
Now I see, VCC and GND needs a Power Flag.
That got rid of my DRC Errors.

Just to be sure.
So GND and PWR nets are auto generated?
Say I have a battery symbol on one side of schematic and need to place a
GND symbol on the other, Kicad will auto assign to the GND net?
