I cannot yet compare Trixbox and AsteriskNOW since I have yet to see
TrixBox. Though I have to admit AsteriskNOW is still beta. :)

How's AsteriskNow compared to Trixbox?

I manage a production Trixbox server here but I have yet to try
AsteriskNow.
