Art, PhOSSIL is not a movement. It is not a LUG. It is a laboratory and a community. In a way, it aims to enhance the aim and motivation of LUGs. How so? PhOSSIL will provide the environment for research. Members of LUGs normally only rely on the member's own resource and computer to conduct personal research.
PhOSSIL will (in the future) provide the computer network and resources. In essence, what a person needs to do will be to register/apply for a project then PhOSSIL will host the project until completion however the person must agree that the project will be released later to the community as opensource with proper credits of course. PhOSSIL will also conduct trainings in the future enabling constant skills transfer as well as consultations to those who intends to move to opensource and not necessarily only on Linux. Regardless of platform, as long as it is opensource, PhOSSIL will foster it. On 3/2/07, Arthur Vincent Simon <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:
