comment lang on the following:

"PhOSSIL in the future will provide the computers and resources for you to
conduct your research. However, upon completion, the researcher will provide
a copy of the documentation and the finished project. However, PhOSSIL will
be authorized to release the finished project as opensource and will host
your project for the community available to everyone. "

From what I understand, the researcher will have no choice but to give-up
the rights of his work to PhOSSIL. Am I geeting this right or is there
something that I miss?

Just a follow-up.

PhOSSIL also will make the laboratory available to everyone willing to
conduct research. All they need to do is apply/register.

All this will not bear fruit if the people behind PhOSSIL is not there.
Due to the very nature of the undertaking, it is but logical that the
participants be very near to discuss and formulate which path PhOSSIL will
take.
